Life coach and business success adviser Edgar Mojica has served as president of the Success Builders International Network since founding this Winter Springs, Florida-based organization in 1999. To help him provide an effective and motivational leadership program, Edgar Mojica can employ communication techniques that he acquired as a certified NLP practitioner.
Developed in the 1970s by linguist John Grinder and mathematician/gestalt therapist Richard Bandler, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) currently enjoys popularity as an organized approach to communication and personal development. The American Board of NLP offers certification in this field at eight different levels from NLP associate to NLP master trainer.
While working toward the certified NLP practitioner designation, students learn how to enhance sensory awareness, analyze the decision-making process, and benefit from mental and emotional release therapies. To receive official certification at this level, each candidate must complete a minimum of 120 hours of training with a certified trainer or a certified master practitioner who operates under the supervision of a trainer.
